• CAMPARI
An Italian bitters made from orange peel, flavoured with quinine. Bright red in colour, with about 25% alcohol.
• CALVADOS
French apple brandy from Normandy.
• CASSIS
A dark-red, sweet, French liqueur made from blackcurrants. Has an alcohol content of about 20%. Often has a vintage date, as it tends to lose flavour with time.Great mixed with sparkling wine or white wine and soda.

• BACARDI
Leading brand of white rum, originally from Cuba and now produced in Bermuda. Also the name of a cocktail.
• BITTER’S
Spirit of varying strengths flavored with roots and herb, used in cocktails to add a kick or depth of flavour, or for medicinal purposes. Most common are Angostura, Amer Picon, Campari, Fernet Branca, Orange and Peach Bitters.
• BOURBON
American whiskey made from a mash that must contain at least 51% corn.
